At 1,250m altitude, at the gateway to Transylvania, the August sky has a depth and clarity rarely found anywhere in Europe — conditions in which the Perseids are visible with the naked eye, spectacular, one after another, crossing the silence of the night.
A stay at Ursa Mică follows a simple and magical rhythm. The sun rises over the Bucegi mountains and wakes you gently — from the bungalow with panoramic windows overlooking the Carpathians, or from your Glam Tent, a premium and cozy glamping tent with the warm scent of a wood-burning stove, just like at grandmother’s. Breakfast arrives with the mountain morning air and fresh farm produce, continuing with a steaming coffee on the terrace of the Panoramic Restaurant.
The day unfolds at your own pace — hiking or quiet relaxation in the complete stillness of the villages, followed by a session in the Estonian sauna or the outdoor hot tub, with the Carpathian forests stretching out before you.
At lunch, a well-deserved Romanian soup at the Panoramic Restaurant, paired with a shot of blueberry brandy or palincă — your choice.
As evening falls, the smell rising from the cauldron or the grill announces dinner: Romanian Heritage Live Cooking, traditional dishes prepared live, with ingredients from the Carpathians.
And when complete darkness settles in — the darkest sky in Europe — you sit outside with a cocktail from the Constellation Menu in hand and let the Perseids put on the show.
At midnight, you can retreat to the romantic terrace of your tent or bungalow, or stay on the meadow of the Panoramic Restaurant with your group of friends.

Elena Albu is a musician, performer and composer, passionate about rediscovering Romanian music and how it can speak to today’s audience. Through sincere and intimate performances, she brings closer the songs that shaped our cultural identity, giving them new breathing room without losing their authenticity. An intimate recital in voice and guitar — songs from Maria Tănase’s repertoire and other old Romanian melodies, in a warm and close atmosphere, under the Carpathian sky.

Every day you can order premium beverages from the Bar , for the Perseids event, we are offering you Constellation Menu artisan cocktails — Perseid, Ursa Mică, Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Mountain Mist — cocktails named after the constellations above you, available throughout the day until 23:30
The beverages are not included in the package and can be ordered and paid at the bar.
